Desirée Vignola is from Caracas, Venezuela. After graduating with a degree in Mass Communication, she worked writing the evening news for an FM radio station in her native country. She has lived in the US for twenty years, holds a teaching certificate for the State of Louisiana where she worked as a Spanish teacher, and this fall will start her master's degree in journalism at Northeastern. She lives with her husband and her two daughters and she loves traveling and getting to know other cultures.
