Global Observer is run by Journalism students from Northeastern University’s College of Arts, Media & Design.
We write about issues that matter to the international student community in the U.S. but are often overlooked in other publications. These range from obtaining a working visa after graduation to fitting into the new environment without losing one’s identity.
We are a growing community and we welcome your readership and contributions, whether they are story ideas, pictures or videos of your experiences as an international student in the U.S.
Global Observer also welcomes essays and articles from students of different points of view in order to foster debate and greater understanding.
The School of Journalism does not endorse any of the views expressed.
This is an independent publication and not an official Northeastern source for federal regulatory information about student visas. Please note that policies may have changed since the date of publication. All inquiries about visas, status, compliance should be directed to the Office of Global Services or the equivalent office at your institution.
The faculty adviser is Professor Matt Carroll.
