 深夜,我与同事在桌前等待着一通来自西班牙的电话。这是一场特殊的访谈,尽管我们都有丰富的采访经验,但这次仍有些紧张。因为将与我们连线的,是中国新闻界杰出人物之一——柴静。她的回忆录《看见》激励了一批包括我在内,梦想通过新闻工作带来社会进步的中国青年记者。这是她在过去十年中第一次接受公开采访。 2015年,辞去了CCTV(中国中央电视台)工作的柴静自费制作了纪录片《柴静雾霾调查:穹顶之下同呼吸共命运》(以下简称为《穹顶之下》)。该片运用数据揭示华北地区空气污染危害,并曝光了当时环境监管的不健全,引起了国内外的广泛关注,更有西方媒体称其为中国版“寂静的春天”。2月28日,《穹顶之下》一经发布即获得超过3亿播放量。人民网(中国主流媒体)在同日发表了对柴静的专访。然而仅仅七天后,中宣部下令将《穹顶之下》全网下架。人民网专访也从官网上被删除,柴静随之从公众视野中消失。 重返舞台 2017年,柴静与家人搬到了西班牙巴塞罗那。临行前,她把工作时穿过的西装都送了人,这是一个卸甲归田的动作。 她说:“我下定决心,只是生活,不再工作。直到一个月后,我与家人经历了一场恐怖袭击”。在这场暴动中,三岁的男孩哈维丧生街头。 作为一名中国记者,恐怖袭击对她而言仍然是一个遥远的概念。但她决定重返新闻现场。这个决定来自哈维的父亲,他恳求人们去寻找真相。柴静说:“我是一个欧洲的陌生人,对它的语言、文化、宗教几乎一无所知。但是我是那个受过训练的人”。 2023年8月17日,在公众视野消失了将近十年后,柴静携她的新纪录片系列《陌生人:对话圣战分子》(以下简称为《陌生人》)在YouTube回归。这部纪录片通过与前伊斯兰极端分子对话,剖析暴力政治意识形态的狂热和动机,短时间内吸引了超过20万次观看。柴静曾试图在中国网络平台发布该系列视频,但视频在发布后一个小时内被删除。 柴静在制作期间没有去想《陌生人》最终会以怎样的形式与观众见面,对未来限制的考虑会成为思考探索的障碍,这是她不愿意接受的。她认为无论在东方还是西方,该选题都具有敏感性和宣传的禁忌性,如果过早地去考量发布的困难,《陌生人》就不会是如今这样的形态。 作为一个欧洲的“陌生人”,柴静无疑面临着一个有难度的选题——她没有在中国那样广泛的人脉,一切都需要从零开始。但困难会提纯一个调查者的动机。她说:“假如这件事情是我真正的疑惑,我又有足够的真诚去把它探索到底的话,(那么)我有一天有可能能够走到桥的那一端去。没有这个信念,我觉得是不可能走下来的”。 新舞台 柴静在她的...
